Modeling Opportunities
I'm looking for people interested in being the subject of a photo shoot. It doesn't matter what look you have, be it a punk rocker, clean cut or whatever, just contact me with a recent picture. If you have an idea already of what you want the shoot to be that's great. I'm looking for all types of portrait experiences as long as they have an artistic quality to them. Please check the "Portrait Portfolio" to see my work thus far. Listed below are some of the specific ideas that I have thus far. Thanks for looking.
Trash the Dress
This can be a great way to get unique photos of you in that wonderful dress once its day has come and gone. The idea behind these shoots is to get pictures of you wearing a formal dress in scenes that normally are not an option. This can include posing around rusting machinery or automobiles, old structures like barns, or in and around water to name a few. This can be a wonderful way to send off a dress but realize that this means your dress is likely to be used up by the end of this shoot. Considering that the resale price for used dresses can be quite small this may be a viable option for you to get one last use and some very unique pictures out of that special dress. If you don't have a dress lying around but are interested in doing a shoot like this contact me any way and we will try and figure something out. I do have a few dresses that I bought on the cheap just to trash so those might be an option also.
Intimate & Fun
If you can cheese it up in front of a camera and/or create a soft and sensual look then this shoot might be for you. This indoor shoot is meant to capture unique moments of personality. I'm looking for someone who is also comfortable wearing soft and intimate clothing such as lingerie, lounge clothes, or even pajamas. You can do light hearted, fun pictures or something a bit sultrier (or a little of both) the choice is yours. We can work most of the options and ideas out ahead of time to make sure we're on the same page. This shoot will most likely use a bedroom or similar lounge scene.
Body Lines
This is an idea I've been thinking about for a while now. I'm sure you've seen those pictures of people where certain parts of their bodies are illuminated and others shroud in darkness to accentuate the flowing lines and beautiful, intricate shapes of the human body. I'm ready to try my hand at this and will need some people to help me make this happen. As the description implies this shoot will require you to be nude or nearly so, however since I have never done this type of work before we could always do a trial run with you wearing something undergarment-like. It will help me set the lighting and camera and give you a better chance to see what the shoot will entail. If the undergarments are form fitting and lay flat against the body the shoot might even be done with you wearing those items. You're more than welcome to bring a friend and I would encourage you to so if it will make you more comfortable. This is about the beauty of the human body, not being nude. As such, I have no interest in capturing the more "intimate parts" of the human body so you can rest assured that nothing scandalous will appear in the photos. You will have a chance to look at the final selections to verify this. These pictures will not include your face so makeup and the like will not be a concern. I'm looking for males and females (or however you classify yourself) of differing body types. Don't assume that because you're not a body builder or a model that you don't have an opportunity. I realize for many that this type of shoot is accompanied by uncertainties so if you're interested please contact me and I will gladly address any questions or concerns. I would gladly meet beforehand to discuss ideas and hear your thoughts. This shoot would be setup like a studio session using lights and most likely a backdrop.
